To Be a Kid Again!
I just love watching the boys get all excited about little things in life that are normal occurances. I love how they look out the window each day and watch that bus go by each morning. When Monday rolls around they both are excited to see the trash man pick up our trash. And everyday we get to see the mail lady!! Or when the dryer buzzes or the microwave dings and they both say, "It's done!" The excitement they have on their faces when I am done vacuuming. Drew always says, "Mommy, you done, you put the vaccum away now!" The excitement of snack time when they get a cracker or some cheerios. I love it when lunch time rolls around and we get to sing the "Uh-oh Spaghetti Oh's" song. When we go to Walmart and they both get a sticker. Just the little things in life that put a smile on their faces! My favorite is when daddy comes home. The noise level sky rockets! Just seeing them yell "Daddy!" What a wonderful life they have, not a care in the world!

Life is truly great isn't it!
WORD VERIFICATION: mother
how fitting...
I loved your post Ang. Its the simple things in life isn't it? Sometimes we need to step back and look thru the eyes of a child and I bet we would appreciate those little things in life a lot more. Love and Miss ya!
Love the post...
How sweet and innocent children are and how awesome to be reminded to look through at life through their eyes.
Thanks for the sweet reminder of life through a child's eyes. It blessed my heart to read.
Blessings on you, mom. Many mothers may be so burdened with life and childcare they don't see these gifts. You are noticing - and are blessed by it. I commend you - in the midst of laundry and feelings of isolation, you noticed.
Angie, that was the sweetest post. It is just so true, the little things that children love melt my heart. Don't they look at you with so much trust? The company of kids is priceless! Love ya.
So true, Angie. I wish that we could all stay like little children in our awe of life...
